About The Owner
Halima Sabour is one of the leading names in the beauty industry with her innovative, cutting edge, yet classic foundational work ethic as a master cosmetologist. As the owner of Sabour Beauty Salon & Wellness, Halima brings over 25 years of experience as both a licensed cosmetologist and educator. Halima possesses an innovative, cutting-edge, yet classic style. That, coupled with her exceptional work ethic as a Master Cosmetologist has enabled Halima to earn a reputation for being a top-tier stylist and entreprenuer.
Graduating from Bennett Career Institute in 1995, Halima has been on a mission to advance her education with the leading names of the industry. She has attended Color and Cutting technique classes with Paul Mitchell Systems, Toni and Guy, Rusk, Wella, Goldwell, Biologe, Sebastian as well as a Relaxer Specialist by Avlon. She firmly believes that when it comes to education: “There is no limit.” To that end, Halima has attended numerous salon product knowledge, salon practices and salon management trainings to further her
business acumen.
In 2020 in the height of the Pandemic, while in quarantine, Halima created her own line of luxury finishing products. The Rose Quartz Collection is a collection of products that are infused with crystal rose quartz. The crystal rose quartz is the crystal of love, which promotes self-love, self-care and self-esteem.
Also, making the most of her downtime Halima became an author of her first non-fiction book titled “I Am My Own Knight in Shining Armor”, a book about resilience. It is the story about believing in your dreams even when no one else does. Through her life story, Halima Sabour encourages her readers to become masters of their lives and achieve every goal they set their hearts to.
Her current passion project, Sabour Beauty Salon & Wellness is the logical culmination of all her hard work, education and experience. With her focus on professional education, beauty and wellness, Halima’s goal is to build upon the foundation that has been laid in order to continue to empower others with a wholistic focus on the mind, body and spirit.
